Day 1

Boston

As guests arrive at Logan Airport in Boston, they will meet with the guide at the baggage claim area to join this tour. Chinatown pick-up location is available, and passengers can be picked up by our free shuttle bus at provided time (between 9am to 10pm) in advance. Pick-up location: 88 Beach Street, Boston, MA, 02111. For more detailed airport pickup information, please see "Departure and Return."

Day 2

Boston - New York (215 miles)

Our morning will be spent seeing Boston. We will visit Faneuil Hall. After, we will head to Quincy Market for lunch and a little shopping around. At the end of our tour, we will board the bus and make the drive to the New York City area for the night. Once we arrive, we will have the chance to take an optional New York Night Tour.

    Boston is a city as beautiful as it is historically significant. Visitors can walk the Freedom Trail and see where the seeds of the American Revolution were sown or visit the North End and look out over the harbor.

    Faneuil Hall

    Since 1743, this meeting hall and marketplace in downtown Boston is a stop along the city's historic Freedom Trail. It played an important role in the early days of the state's government and in the buildup to the American Revolution.

Today, we will spend the day touring New York City, visiting some of this city's most iconic landmarks, like the One World Observatory. Then, we will take a sightseeing cruise to the Statue of Liberty. We will also come to Times Square to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Pass by Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero.

Today we will drive to Philadelphia, PA, the birthplace of the United States. Here, we will visit National Independence Park, which is home to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. From there, we will continue onto Washington, DC, where we will see the US Capitol, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and much more. Guests will also be able to visit the National Air and Space Museum or the National Museum of Natural History, followed by a Potomac River Cruise. We will spend the night in the DC area.

    Lincoln Memorial

    National Air and Space Museum

    One of the Smithsonian Institute's museums in Washington, DC, the National Air and Space Museum chronicles the history of flight. From the Wright Brother to Buzz Aldrin, the exhibits at this museum explore all of humanity's air travels.

    Vietnam Veterans Memorial

    This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

    Korean War Veterans Memorial

    This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

    White House

    (Outside Visit) The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

    US Capitol

    (Outside Visit) The famous United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US Congress, and has been for more than 200 years. The building is famous for its elaborate dome and intricately designed, detailed columns.

Washington D.C. - Corning - Niagara Falls (428 miles)

Today, we will head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. Then, we will continue to Niagara Falls, where we can choose to explore on our own or embark on an in-depth tour of the area that includes visits to Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara. Later, we will check into our hotel in the area.

Today, we will ride the famous Maid of the Mist cruise, which brings passengers as close as possible to Niagara Falls. We will also have the option of watching the Niagara Falls Adventure IMAX or take a Jet Boat ride on the Niagara River. Around noon, guests can choose to return to Boston or fly out of the Buffalo airport. The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

  • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
