Day 1

Philadelphia - Washington DC (139 miles)

Passengers will be picked up in Philadelphia in the early morning. Our tour begins with sightseeing in Philadelphia, PA. Here we will see the historic Independence Hall and Liberty Bell. Next we will go to the One Liberty Observation Deck. We will stop at Reading Terminal Market for lunch. You may enjoy a Philly Cheesesteak! Then we will head to Washington D.C. to take DC cruise for sightseeing of the town along the Potomac River. Enjoy the view of the Pentagon, Air Force Memorial, Fort McNair Officers Club and Titanic Memorial etc. We will also visit the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial. After dinner, we will start the night tour of Washington DC (60mins). We will come to the reflecting pool by the Capitol Hill, then Thomas Jefferson's Memorial, next World War II Memorial that can overlook Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.

    (Outside Visit) The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

    Lincoln Memorial

    This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

    Korean War Veterans Memorial

    This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

    Vietnam Veterans Memorial

    This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

    The Capitol Reflecting Pool

    The Capitol Reflecting Pool is a reflecting pool in Washington, D.C. It lies to the west of the United States Capitol and is the westernmost element of the Capitol grounds.

    Jefferson Memorial

    (Passing By) The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.

    World War II Memorial

    (Passing By) One of Washington, DC's many monuments and memorials, the WWII Memorial pays homage to those who served in the US military during that conflict. It was opened in 2002.

Washington D.C.

We will begin our day by visiting the U.S. Capitol Building and the Library of Congress (If the capitol and Library are closed, we will see the exterior of both). We will also visit Supreme Court of US. For lunch, we will go to Shake Shack to enjoy one of the best burgers in town (Not included in tour fee). After lunch, we will go for the Madame Tussauds President Wax Museum and the Ford's Theater (exterior). Then we will leave the time for Smithsonian Museums. Guests may choose to visit National Air & Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, Museum of Natural History, and Museum of American History.

    The famous United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US Congress, and has been for more than 200 years. The building is famous for its elaborate dome and intricately designed, detailed columns.

    Library of Congress

    US Supreme Court Building

    The Supreme Court is another magnificent addition to Washington's neoclassical buildings. It is home to the country's highest governing judicial body. Visitors may tour the building on their own and also attend court, provided that it is in session.

    Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

    (Outside Visit) The Washington, DC arm of this worldwide phenomenon is a sight to behold. Amazingly and sometimes eerily lifelike figures line the halls of this art museum in the form of celebrities and politicians both famous and infamous.

    Ford's Theatre and Museum

Using environmental recreations, videos, and three-dimensional figures, the museum transports visitors to 19th-century Washington, where they can follow Lincoln from his arrival in Washington in 1861.

    Smithsonian Institution

    Centered on the National Mall, the Smithsonian Institution is a series of museums dedicated to research and spreading knowledge. Some of the most notable Smithsonian museums are the National Air and Space Museum and the Museum of American History.

Day 3

Washington D.C. - Niagara Falls (307 miles)

We will enjoy our breakfast before we depart from the hotel. After Arrival Niagara Falls around noon, we will start with Niagara Scenic Tour to Old Fort Niagara and Whirlpool State Park. We will also go for the Niagara Adventure Ride of Jetboat. Then we will go for the Maid of Mist Boat Tour to see the Niagara Falls (Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, American Falls). We will enjoy the IMAX movie (30mins) of Niagara Falls as well. After sunset, our tour leader will take you to the Goat Island. We will enjoy the night view of the falls. (Tour leader will arrange the best time to see the night view according to the actual sunset time)

    Goat Island

    Goat Island is an Island in the Niagara River located between the two waterfalls that makes up Niagara Falls. Its Terrapin Point is often visited by tourists and offers some of the most breathtaking views of the falls.

Niagara Falls - Boston (467 miles)

We will enjoy our breakfast before we depart from the hotel. We will drive towards Boston along with the Erie Canal and I-90 East. The Harvard University will be the first stop. We will go for Harvard Campus Tour to see the statues, library, Harvard Yard and so much more. Then we will pass by the MIT. Moreover, we will go to Christian Science Church - The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ and Copley Square . Taking photos with Trinity Church of Boston and John Hancock Tower. Then we will continue to walk the Freedom Trail in Boston, which will take us past the Boston Common, the Park Street Church, the Old Granary Burial Ground, the Massachusetts State House, the Old State House, the site of the Boston Massacre, Faneuil Hall and much more. Those who prefer to walk less can choose to go on a Boston Harbor cruise instead. Dinner will be taken place in Chinatown for Lobster Meal.

    One of the most bustling parts of the city, Copley Square, in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, is the location of the John Hancock Building and Trinity Church. It is named for the painter John Singleton Copley.

    Trinity Church is located in Boston's upscale Back Bay neighborhood. It is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, and the elaborate and ornate building has become a landmark and icon in downtown Boston.

    John Hancock Tower

    The John Hancock Tower is an iconic skyscraper in Boston, MA. Constructed in 1968, this beautiful blue building is staple of the Boston skyline. It is the tallest building both in Boston and all of New England.

    At one time, lobster was considered low-class food, barely fit to be used as fertilizer. Not so today-- the most elite are willing to shell out a fortune for a good lobster, and Massachusetts is famous for its shellfish.

    Freedom Trail Walking Tour

    The Freedom Trail was conceived by local journalist William Schofield, who in 1951 suggested building a pedestrian trail to link important local landmarks. Boston mayor John Hynes decided to put Schofield's idea into action. By 1953, 40,000 people were walking the trail annually.

    Originally named the North Burial Ground, Copp's Hill is Boston's second oldest cemetery, and is the final resting place of famous figures from the city's past,

    Not to be confused with the large, gold-domed building on Beacon Hill, Boston's Old State House was the site of the Boston Massacre in 1770 and is a major stop along the Freedom Trail. Today, it houses a small museum.

  • Buy 2 Get 3rd Discounted: (1) Cancellation of discounted passenger must be made at least 7 days before departure. (2) No-show or late cancellation incurs a $450 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat.
  • Child rates: Child rates apply to those who are 0-12 years old. Child above 2 years must take the seat. Customers are welcome to use child safety seats on that have lap and/or shoulder belts/harnesses for the infant under 2 years.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

  • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
