Day 1

New York

Today we will visit One World Observatory, Liberty Cruise, Times Square, U.S.S Intrepid, Metropolitan Museum. We will also pass by the Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center and so on.

New York - Niagara Falls (408 miles)

Today we will continue on to Niagara Falls, NY. Here, we will ride the famous Maid of the Mist (seasonal, closed in winter), see the IMAX Movie. Guests may also choose to take an In-Depth Tour that visits places like the Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara. We will spend the night in the Niagara area.

    Maid of the Mist

    This famous boat ride gets passengers up close and personal with the Niagara Falls! The Maid rides right into the mists thrown up by the roaring cascade as the Niagara River tumbles over the edge of the falls.

Niagara Falls - Cleveland - Chicago (556 miles)

Today we will head to Cleveland to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After that we will return to Chicago for the night.

    Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

    The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was actually established quite recently, in 1983. Still, induction has quickly become a massive honor, and the pipe dream of many a young musician playing too loudly in their parents' garage.

Chicago

Today, we will spend our time visiting the best locations around Chicago. Our stops will include Millennium Park & Cloud Gate (20 mins), Grant Park, Chicago Theater, The Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Water Tower, Michigan Avenue, Chicago Cruise, 360 Chicago (including Tilt), Helicopter Experience Tour (minimum 2 people). We will pass by Navy Pier, Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain, Marina City, Trump International Hotel and Tower, Willis Tower Observation Deck Special.

    Millennium Park

    Located in Chicago's busy Loop area, Millennium Park was opened in 2004 and is a state-of-the-art park. The Pavilion and Great Lawn is now a popular spot to host concerts, and the iconic Cloud Gate is located in this park.

    Cloud Gate

    This impressive and somewhat bizarre stainless steel sculpture is the focal point of AT&T Plaza in Chiago, Illinois' Millennium Park. Nicknamed "The Bean" due to its shape, it was constructed in 2006 and designed by British artist Anish Kapoor.

    Grant Park

    Nicknamed "Chicago's front yard," Grant Park sits right on Chicago's waterfront. It is home to gardens, museums, live performance venues, several pieces of art, like a monument to Abraham Lincoln and the Agora, a collection of headless statues.

    Chicago Theater

    In the busy Loop area of Chicago is the city's namesake theater with its iconic marquee, which has become an unofficial symbol of the city. It hosts performances of all kinds, including drama, comedy, dance, and more.

    Art Institute of Chicago

    Michigan Avenue

    Part of Chicago's Magnificent Mile, Michigan Avenue is one of the city's major roadways, running north-to-south through the heart of downtown. It is home to many famous buildings and upscale shops.

    This observsation deck sits atop the John Hancock Tower in Chicago, providing exquisite aerial views of the city's skyline that you can't get anywhere else. The new LIFT feature extends out above the city below for an exhilirating experience.

    Architectural Cruise

    Navy Pier

    (Passing By) Buckingham Fountain in Chicago's Grant Park is one of the largest fountains in the world and one of Chicago's most popular tourist attractions. It throws as much as 15,000 gallons of water into the air every minute.

Chicago - Detroit (281 miles)

Our tour will start with Detroit, the capital of automobiles in the United States. We will visit Henry Ford Museum. Then we will also stop at the Ford Motor Headquarter.

    Henry Ford Museum

    This National Historic Landmark in the suburbs just outside Detroit is dedicated to the collection and preservation of Americana. The Henry Ford museum contains things such Lincoln's Ford's Theater seat and Rosa Parks' famous bus.

Day 6

Detroit - Pittsburgh - Washington DC (450 miles)

We will leave Detroit in the morning and head east into Pennsylvania. Our first stop today will be Pittsburgh, PA, where we will visit the Point State Park. We will then journey to Washington, DC to visit famous monuments. Guests will also have a chance to take a Boat Tour on the Potomac River. We will spend the night in the DC area.

    Pittsburgh is the second-largest city in the US Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the county seat of Allegheny County. Regionally, it anchors the largest urban area of Appalachia and the Ohio River Valley, and nationally, it is the 22nd-largest urban area in the United States.

    Point State Park

    Designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, this park in downtown Pittsburgh rests at the genesis of the Ohio River. The fountain in the center of the park shoots water up to 150 feet in the air.

    The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River. Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

    Lincoln Memorial

    This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

    Vietnam Veterans Memorial

    This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

    Korean War Veterans Memorial

    This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

    Potomac River Cruise

    The Potomac River runs along Washington, DC, the capital city of the United States of America. Visitors to this famous locale can opt to see many of the area's most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way.

    If the cruise closed, we will visit International Spy Museum instead.

    (Outside Visit) The famous United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US Congress, and has been for more than 200 years. The building is famous for its elaborate dome and intricately designed, detailed columns.

Washington DC - Baltimore - Lancaster - Philadelphia - New York (286 miles)

We will leave DC in the morning, go to Annapolis to visit the Annapolis Habor. Then visit nearby Baltimore Inner Harbor. We will continue to Lancaster County to visit an Amish Farm and House. We will then move on to Philadelphia, PA, where we will visit Independence National Historical Park, outside visit Independence Hall and Liberty bell. Our day will end in New York City, where, upon our arrival, we can take a Night Tour of the city.

    The Inner Harbor of Baltimore, Maryland has been a major United States port since the 1700s, and today is also a popular tourist destination. The Inner Harbor area features sports stadiums, museums, eateries, shops, and an aquarium.

    (Outside Visit) The famously cracked Liberty Bell is a sign of American Independence and spirit. Located at Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, PA, this symbol of the American Revolution was crafted in 1752-- more than 250 years ago.

    Independence Hall

    Wall Street

    This famous street in New York City's Financial District has become synonymous with American financial enterprises. It is also the home of the New York Stock Exchange, and has been (or still is) the location of several other exchanges.

    Charging Bull

    This bronze sculpture that sits at the northern tip of New York's Bowling Green Park is ready to strike! It was commissioned to represent the "strength and power of the American people" after the stock market crashed in 1987.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

  • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
